Does anyone know how to get this damn thing off? The bolts there are like glued on with the clear coat please help!

Take a razor and cut around the edges of the bolts. Then make doubly sure you are using the right sized torx bit, you are using the right one when you have to pound it in because the bolt will be partially filled with paint.

Impact guns or something like it work well because they won't cause the torx bit to cam out and strip the bolt. If you are using a wrench though it's best to have 2 people, one person putting pressure directly on the bit (to prevent it from camming out) and another to turn. Using a big breaker/cheater bar is best because you can apply the force smoothly.

Would a heat gun help?
