Okay, let me explain this the best I can. I am not mechanically inclined to bear with me. When I get in my Jeep after it sitting for a while and turn the steering wheel it sounds like it rubs a little bit. If I had to explain where exactlly it was coming from Id say the rod that connects the actual wheel to the engine, about 1/2 way down. Is this something that I could just put some wd-40 on and forget about? It doesnt effect the way the Jeep drives, its just more annoying than anything. Anyone know what I am talking about?

I have the same year jeep with the same noise theres a rubber bushing where the steering rod goes through the firewall just hit it with wd or love lube of your choice and it goes right away
