My a/c condensation is leaking onto the passenger floor. It does not seem to be clogged because I can see it drip out of the end of the tube in the engine compartment. I can't figure out how to access the drip tube from the passenger compartment. Any else have this issue? How do I fix the problem?

Thanks
Tom

I think this is one of the most common complaints. I can't tell you how but I bet if you search the forums you'll find the old threads.

there is a small tube on the firewall under the battery.put a 90 degree bend on it using plumbing parts to aim it down and that will fix your problem.

Might want to also put a shop vac on there and clean out any stuff that might have accumulated. The drain on a 97+ XJ already has that 90 degree bend in it so you might find one at a boneyard.

this is caused by us drving at highway speeds or i would guess above 40 mph. The wind while driving is pushing the water back into the cab. Do like the other guy said and put a 90 bend on it, it cost me like 10 bucks for parts and this will cure your problems..

The culprits' cure, can be seen here....90degree PVC wallered out to snugly slip over drain tube...results.... No more water on passenger side floorboard. So disgusted! Fresh flat black on floor board and frame, I looked at the drivers side real well, not so well on the passenger side. This leak rotted the body mount out, on passenger side, passenger side frame is pretty bad, in between the controlling arms. Wondering what to do??? First thoughts are to sell it! lol but it's mine! It's got 83,000 miles on it, runs great, 17mpg, very minor body rust on back driver corner, 4 inch long area with a few bubbles at the seam. ? Any suggestions? I figure I should get the cancer cut out soon, or it will take over? Anyone no of anyone around louisville ky, that would tackle this task? Is it worth messing with, or have I got ten years left on it, and I'll replace the jeep before then.....anyway, I am disabled from two back surgeries, last one was 10-22-10 I need hip surgery on a torn labral, I can not tackle much anymore. I used to be a cnc machinist, I still have a haas sl-10 and a tm-2, in my fathers shed. He runs some production on them, I ain't been out there to work, in two years! Anyway, advise is appreciated. My heads not that clear right now.
