Ok guys need some help here my 91 yj air blows cold (sometimes) when driving the jeep down the road it cools good but every few minutes it start blowing warm for just a short time. While the jeep is at idle the compressor kicks in and out ever couple seconds and doesn't cool. If you rev the engine just a little the compressor locks in and blows cold. All the pressure looks good freon is good could this be a fan clutch issue??? I'm am lost any suggestions

Not fan clutch but compressor clutch. The system also could be over heating and shutting itself down. See if you can check to make sure there is nothing clogging the clean air intake for the A/C system.

Pressure problem. There us a high press sw and a low press sw. You may have a blockage somewhere in the system. You need to put some gauges on it to check it out.

If not a blockage could be low pressure and it is protecting itself by shutting down.

Needs some troubleshooting.

Put a set of A/C gages on itand see what happens,if it cuts out at idle sitting still check the fan clutch and refrigerant level. What you describe can be caused by a multitude of things including a blocked condensor, weak compressor, fan clutch or expansion valve. Also a badly retrofitted system can be problematic. Also a overheat condition in the engine will run refrigerant pressurs up and cause problems.A/C shops sometimes give free estimates.
