These days I'm not often impressed by much. Maybe my standards are too high and companies are just getting lazier about how they treat customers so I don't find too many occasions to say "Wow, that was great customer service!"

Today was the second time I said that about Metalcloak.

I ordered some bits and piceces during the Father's Day free shipping promo and received a call the next business day thankinig me for my purchase and a follow-up to let me know that because the large amount of orders, it'd be a week or two before my order shipped. No problem. I was pleasantly surprised by the call. How many calls were made?

Today I received a call from John because I ordered more bits and pieces during the July 4th free shipping promo. John was calling to thank me for my order and let me know that they took a ton of orders and that my parts would ship in a week or two. I had a couple quick questions and a couple thank-yous later I was again surprised by the call and wondered how many calls John made today.

It's the little things that matter. When a company calls me to thank me for my order and let me know it'll be a couple weeks before it ships, that takes time and effort and I appreciate that little bit of time and effort paid me, little TJ owner in Arizona.


Thanks Metalcloak! You've got my business twice now. It's not just great products that make loyal customers, it's how you treat them. Keep up the great work! We'll be talking again soon. :)

This is awesome to hear. I'm planning on making a call today to ask some questions and hopefully place an order!

He makes a lot of phone calls thanking people. Even for something as little as the weld on LCA skids. I ordered those alone and the next day I got a call thanking me for the order.
