This may be my first Jeep and I was wondering, based in the info below, is this a good price on this 2006 Jeep Wrangler SE (says TJ also).

Price $14,995
Mileage 52,490
Body Style Sport Utility
Exterior Color Black Clearcoat
Interior Color Dark Slate Gray
Engine 6 Cylinder
Transmission Automatic
Drive Type 4 wheel drive - rear
Fuel Type Gasoline
Doors Two Door

It comes with a soft top and half doors/windows. I can get the price down a bit, but what do you guys thing of the 2006 SE? I am very new to Jeeps, and have heard of X, Unlimited, Rubicon, TJ, JK, etc but never anything called an SE. Is an SE able to handle trailing? I am not rock crawler, more of a driving outdoors through small mud puddles and no being worried about pot holes lol.

I have always wanted a Wrangler. I can afford the one I listed above but what do you guys think? Does the price look normal for the year and miles? Is the SE lesser than other Wrangler models?

I added a picture as well :) Can not be complete without one!

You should double check that, I didn't think an se came with a 6 cyl.

Regardless, any wrangler can handle "trailing"
I've got a 99 se and can get through pretty much any trail you throw at it.

Hey Owen! I recall you from my first post on this site lol. You were very helpful and kind and looks like you are doing it again! You rock bro!

Back on topic, I did verify with the seller that it is the V6 4.0L I6 12v engine. According to what I could find on google (not sure if sources were valid) the SE came standard with a 4cyl and an optional 4.0 V6 as well. I would hope the dealer is not lying, because I will be checking and catching him in a lie would make for an awkward situation lol.

What is the differences of an SE or X or Rubicon?

Do you have a link to the vehicle???
It cant be a V6 because they didnt make a v6 TJ...

I dont know all the small differences between them but from my understanding its basically like this:

SE - bare bones 4 cyl
X - bare bones 6 cyl
Sport - 6 cyl with optional tow package and hooks and some other accessories
Rubicon - the trail built version with upgraded axles, lockers, etc.

I could absolutely be wrong with that but thats been my basic understanding of them...i also remember reading somewhere that the X model replaced the Sport model with the later TJ's

Regardless, all wranglers are "trail ready" and can do more than you think in stock form...
