I've never had a vehicle with a 110 AC adaptor before. I can already see that it's handy for charging my iphone (MUCH faster than USB), but what else do people use it for? Making frozen margaritas in the jeep? Plugging in a nice reading lamp? What do you use YOUR AC adapter for?

I havent used it yet, but i've thought about plugging in my external book drive and copying all my music to the vehicle hard drive. i thought it might be easier than using the thumb drives.
i prefered the two dash dc power sources of previous models rather than the current arrangement of one on the dash and one in the console.

I use mine mostly to charge my phone, but it will also run an small compressor I keep for emergency purposes.

Doesn't look like it is very useful. :hide: Per owners manual the rating is only 150 watts...

AMPS X 120 (AC voltage) = WATTS
Watts divided by input volts (12) = the DC amp consumption per hour of a battery
