I recently decided to add power mirrors to my Jeep. I contacted ORE about their power mirror package but was told that they recently decided to discontinue that product.

I pieced together a set of mirrors, switch, and everything else I needed and installed them myself. Without having a wiring diagram, I used the Mopar Connection Repair site to see what goes where.

I successfully installed everything, and got them working...for the most part. For some reason, I can move both mirrors in all directions except down. If any one has pieced together their own kit, I would greatly appreciate where I have gone astray in the wiring. Thanks!

I am looking to do the exact same thing to my Wrangler Sport. I am very interested in what you figured out!

Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the Quadratec Automatic Mirror Movers. You will still need the switch, and not sure what wiring is automatically in the Jeep, but if you like to roll with the doors off, you will be ahead on mirrors for when you pull the doors!

Did anyone compile the parts list. I think the mirrors and the swithc are easy but I cannot understand what might be needed with the connectors. JK 2017 Unli Sport.. Much appreciated

I put power locks in my wifes 2015 Sport. I used factory door latches and upgraded the door harness to one that had power mirrors, locks, and windows. I was able to locate pins for the door plug so the guy putting in the remote start and power locks could tie into the original harness without using a trailer plug in addition to the factory plug.

One day I will get to doing the power windows and mirrors.

Try as I might, I cannot figure out what kind of female connector goes into the back of the power mirror switch. I have the switch, and the mirrors (and, thanks to this great forum, the wiring diagram) and it all checks out.
I have even tried to get a harness from a wreck but the wreck yards a) want $200 and b) won't give me just the connector (oh, they will, for $200!). Anyway, my plan is to use the female connectors, use shrink wrap to insulate each individually, then use RTV INSIDE the switch (carefully and not too much) just to hold them all in place. What is the worst that can happen. Even the repair kits are pricey....

Cross fingers.

You can find the part number here:

Search for your model/year, then scroll down the list to "SWITCH-MIRROR"

Ok, so here is the next question. I did find this part number, ordered it, and (after an initial "we have this in stock" and then "oh, no we dont" I got this yesterday. Now, what I expected was the connector and some wires that would insert into the connector. What I got was the wires. No connector. So, did I somehow order the incorrect part OR did this one just happen to be missing the female connector  I have a feeling the supplier won't know. THey just got me what I asked for I suppose.

Part number 68316923AA - "Terminal"

Well, the project is done.
Some interesting details:
1) Since the supplier could not tell me whether the female connector was omitted from the kit, I declined to order a second. I just insulated each wire end with shrink tubing, put it on the pin, and then with all in place filled the cavity with RTV. One day later, solid as a rock... a rubbery rock, but still.
2) I believed based on some pictures that this switch went into the hole near the driver's knee (the 12V socket) so I removed that, and found that the hole was .25 inch too small diameter. So, drilled it to 1.25 inch with a hole saw. Make a notch at the top for the switch as that was needed. Fed the wires in an down towards the driver footwell. Installed plugs for mirrors (1 x3) and power (1 x 2)
3) Took the panels off the doors (Manual windows, so had to improvise a tool to take the clip off) and mount the mirror. BUT WAIT. There is no hole on the inside of the doors for wires... One would think they would just make ONE door for all models. I guess not. Once again, my hole saw: Punched the hole, fitted a rubber grommet and fitter the wires.
4) Snaked wires through the fabric wire thing one each side. Mounted mirrors, crimped on male/female plugs and connected everything up.
5) Hid the wires, cable ties and sticky wire holders.
6) Power and ground. (I have added some power direct from fusebox to the cabin so used that.
7) Tested and done!

About 4 hours for everything, 1 hour to make switch, 2 hours for doors, 1 hours for wiring.

QED (Latin for Quite Easily Done which, it never is...)

2012 wrangler 2 door sport no fancy power options. Not to dig up an old post but.. I have the mirrors I can make my own connectors. But I need a wire diagram I have the pinout for the power mirror switch most of the wires are easy. But the heated mirror wires not.

Basically I'm going to make a harness but need a wire diagram.
Now, with two drivers the mirror adjustments are annoying.

Thanks in advanced,
