Hey guys, first a little back story.

I have a base 2000 wrangler, came with a softtop, 2.5l + AX-5 (the runt of the litter).

Earlier this year I bought a hardtop from a guy who wrecked his 2000 Sahara with a shattered back glass. I replaced the back glass with this unit:

Now, since my jeep is a base model with out any wiring for the rear wiper or defroster I need to add it. I'm not to concerned with the wiper at the moment, just want to make sure I get the defrost out of the way before winter. even though as it is, I'm already better off then I was in the softop.

I've had trouble finding info on adding the wiring, I assume it's as easy as adding a relay, switch and a fuse. But I want to know if there is any bias on witch pole (driver or passenger) is hot or ground and what size fuse should I be using?

Also, if anyone is aware of a factory conversion kit, that would be super awesome. I have enough jerry rigged switches on my dash lol.

cause I like to see pics of jeeps, here it is:

They sold lots and I still have the directions but it is more complicated then you think
A momentary switch with indicator light in center lower dash
A relay in relay box under hood
The defroster grid on back glass
PLUS tie in to the timer circuit in the cluster is the factory kit method

Pm me of you want a pdf of the instructions that came with factory kits
I have both early and late and they include year to year harness pin locations but not a true wiring diagram

One is 4,133 KB other is only 459KB
They are on my laptop and only my phone has my forum access on it
So with an email I can send from the laptop
