I'm getting ready to sell my 1997 wrangler sport and I'm looking for a replacement soft top with half door skins.
I'm trying to decide between Pavement Ends, Rugged Ridge or Rampage.
Does anyone have any advice?

I bought the pavement ends when my top needed replaced. Easy swap. Door skins leak through the zipper because it doesn't have the little drain holes on the corners like the factory ones did. But all in all it's not a bad top.

My advice would be to not get one that replaced your stock hardware. I got one that did and even though the fabric was made better, the hardware was more difficult to work with. I wish I had save the old parts so i could switch back when this one is worn out.

If you are selling, you'll definately want to stick as close to stock as possible.

/\, I couldn't agree more! Totally regret getting rid of my hardware because I want to switch back on my '98 now!

It sounds like you're just going for the least expensive top so it will look good to make it sell easier, right? If so, I'd go for the Pavement Ends top. The reason is that even though the Pavement Ends is imported like the other two tops are as well, at least Pavement Ends is owned by Bestop and their quality and quality control is going to be as good as it gets with an import top.

If you were going to keep it, I'd of course say to go with a Bestop Sailcloth replace-a-top. :)
