Pretty sure you need the isolator, otherwise the spring will be metal on metal and make all kinds of noise

Thanks for the help .. I had the 2" spacer lift and the instructions say to remove the rear isolator so when I installed the 2.5" I didn't even think about putting them back. Well I only put about 600 miles on it so I don't think I've done any damage..
Thanks again for the help I was in panic mode when ii thought about it... They will be put back in a few minutes

It' unlikely you did any harm. The isolators are there too improved ride quality and reduce noise (squeaking) so you definitely want to install them.
