NOW Bilstein 4" shocks can I use them on 2" lift.

I picked up JKU Rubicon shocks and springs for my JKU today, and I was given an extra set of shocks.

They say AEV DUALSPORT on them and are Bilstein 5100 series F4-BE5-F342-T0

That is all I can make out. Anyone know what they are for? I assume, JK, but for a lift? and how much lift?

Thanks in advance

Mystery solved. Now new question

OK after a couple hours of research I found the info in a Toyota forum.

"Solved the mystery.. They are F4-BE5-F342-T0... 4" lift rear shocks for jk"

If it's the shock they run on their 3.5, it has an extended length of around 27". That is too long for a typical 2" lift set up.

Not only is it probably too long, but when compressed is probably too long as well. Stock the JK axle can compress the shock to 15", so if the shock is longer than that it will need bump stops to prevent shock damage.
