Does anyone know if you have to install a lift kit or leveling kit if installing an AEV bumper on a stock 2012 Rubi? Due to weight of bumper I wonder if it would tilt the stock front end down. May not be a big deal. If add winch in future then added weight may require mods?

Best answer is it depends. Some front springs from the factory are stiffer than others. You don't "have" to lift by adding spacers or a spring lift with a new bumper but most people want to. How much will the front sag? Probably not much with stiff factory springs like the Rubi's come with.

Best way to tell- put the weight of the new bumper on the stock and see how much sag you get. You will get a little less when you remove the stock front and install just the desired bumper. A relatively small woman standing on the bumper or two 50 lb sacks should give you an idea.

Good luck!
