I have an AEV Procal that was purchased brand new. I used it to change my DRL and TPMS about two months ago, and it worked great.

Fast forward to today... I changed my tire pressure weekend before last, because the ride was still too rough. Just got around to changing the TPMS with the Procal. I set it for 28psi according to the dip switches (3 up, 1 down, 2 up, 2 down), turned the key to RUN, plugged it into the ODB port and got the two beeps and the TPMS light shut off. Removed the Procal from the ODB port, turned the engine off, turned it on again and the TPMS went back on, still saying that my threshold is 36psi.

Just tried to call AEV tech support, and of course, no one is available to answer the phone. I left a message for a call back, but in the meantime I thought I would try here and see if anyone can see what I did wrong.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks, gang! :flowers:

Well, I just drove it around for five and a half miles, turned it on and off a couple of times and still no change. Everything keeps dinging and flashing.

I guess I'll see if it fixes itself the next time I go into town. That's a 20 mile trek.

For what it's worth, I still have the stock 130 HU.

Also, make sure you have the PSI at least 6 off. So if you want to set it at 24 like I did (I normally run 28-30) you have to make sure your tires are maybe at 32 and then set it to 24. You can then air down to 28 or 30. The Procal setting is the low threshold.
Aha! I didn't know that either. Thanks! :)
