I have a 2012 Rubicon. Going to order aev pintler wheels. Going to run bfg km2 .Im thinking a305/70/17 will work best.or would a 285/75/17 be better for this wheel? I know its almost the same tire.I'm not running a lift...

A 305/70/17 will stuff really easily offroad with no lift, and the backspacing on AEV Pintlers is 5.2 so they will rub on road as well. The 285/75/17 will be better as it should not rub on road, but you will still have little flex off road without a lift. Both of those tires are around 34".

The front bumper/air dam is where they are most likely to rub, especially when turning. But like I said, with stock flares and those tire sizes you will have very little room to articulate off road.
