I have stock wheels.

Who here is running aftermarket wheels?

Of those who are, whom are running bead locks?

Who here has, or saw, someone break the seal/bead of a rim/tire?

My understanding is bead lock wheels can handle a lower psi. I understand tires have different sidewall properties. Why wouldn't I look at this type of wheel?

Am I correct some states prohibit bead locks?

Do you have much off road experience? Do you plan on hardcore rock crawling? Most wheels are safe to air down to 10-12psi with out too much worry. Beadlocks are cool if you plan on really getting after the tough rocks. But regular wheels/aftermarket are just fine for mild to semi tough wheeling. Unless you are going to be pounding on the jeep I would save the flow for other mods.

Some states prohibit a lot of stuff.... People still run what they want. Just depends on who you get stopped by. I have not heard of anyone getting a ticket for bead locks.
