Okay I’m so close to getting my 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Just the way I want it and now I’m just about done “for now”…

• I already had:
o My 4 ½ Rubicon Express Lift (short arm)
o Rancho RS 9000 X Shocks
o Kicking Stereo with Polk MOMO Speakers & amps
• 6 Disc Mopar Changer
• Mopar Sirius Radio (lifetime subscription)
o Warn Rock Crawler Bumpers Front and Back
o Cobra CB
o Optima Battery
o Lots of Warn armor under the Jeep
o New (un-scratched) OEM Flares
o All the Mopar Goodies I had room for
• OEM slush mats
• OEM bikini Top
• OEM soft top boot
o GPS Navigation
o JKS quick discos
o K&N Filter (I’d like a nicer one)
o Only 11 Payments left
• My Generous Sponsors provided:
o Warn 9.5 Ti winch and all the mounting hardware
o A brand new set of “5” Goodyear 285 MTRs
o I bought a spare rack from 4WD Parts I’m waiting for
o New tire rod ends

• Now all I need are a few goodies to belly up my Transfer case
o Rubicon Express CV rear Drive Shaft
o Rubicon Express CV Yolk
o Warn Gas Tank Shield
o 1” Body Lift
o Currie 1” lift motor mounts
o Warn Oil pan skid plate and (a new OEM New Oil pan)
o TeraFlex BellyUp transfer case skid plate

What else do you guys think I need?

If I do all the work myself, I'm less than $2,000.00 from getting it the way I want it.

I don’t want to go into debt to finish my Jeep but I sure would like to have it perfect by the Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree in March.

Or should I just count my blessings and run it the way it is?

sounds like biggers tires. You should go 35's instead of 285's.

Ouch!

If I did all thast I'll never be done.....

Although I do like the idea of on-board air!:D

I never thought about a Welder but that would be cool too

Most of the places I wheel there is tourch cutter and a welder on site. :)

OH! How about on-board Plasma Cutter & Plasma Welder:eek:

If I did all that I would have the worlds first $65,000 Rubicon that goes wheeling.

Didn't see this listed..if it was sorry...

Real Roll Cage, or at a least something better over your driver and passenger area. Bolt on good, welded better, welded into frame best.

I want to buy a 2007 Wrangler after I pay off my Rubicon, most likely in 2008.

When I'm in the new rig I might “Someday” flat fender the front fenders my 2003 Rubicon and get a Poison Spider Roll Cage for it. But I wont be welding anything to the frame until I’m out of the 7 70,000 Power Train Warrantee.

You know it's funny!

I do this every year when we are about two months out from the first Jeep Jamboree of the season.

It might be because my Jeep Porn form 4WDHW and Quadretec show up. What can I can I say....”I'm weak and fall into temptation easily”

One thing I didn't see was axle gearing. With the Rubicon you already got the 4:1, but some 4.56 or 4.88 would do you real nice in there.

Re-Gear!

I've done the math and although a Re-gear would be cool I'm not too upset with the top end I have now.:D

I think that will have to wait until the 7/70 is over.

Then get a bolt in cage, your warrantee certainly is not going to provide you any protection if you roll over, but the $500 for at least a decent bolt in cage add on could save your life or those riding with you. Simple cost vs benifit to me.
