I'm not going to be able to make Jeeptober :( so I was thinking about doing an easy trail in the Idaho Springs area. Probably going to get more snow tonight, that is why I would like to hit an easy trail.

Possibly one of the following trails...
TrailDamage.com - Barbour Fork
TrailDamage.com - Cascade Creek
TrailDamage.com - Devil's Canyon
TrailDamage.com - Russell Gulch
Where did you end up going this weekend? I did Cascade creek a few weeks ago and it's a lot more trail than the traildamage.com sight says it is. I think it has eroded/changed since the rating.

I didn't end up going out. Didn't have another rig to go and I don't fly solo.

Do you want to do Barbour Fork this weekend? I've never been on this trail and I am fairly new to 4 wheeling so this is about my speed.

Barbour Fork is a nice easy run, I ran it about a month ago. Let me see if I can talk my gf into going since she doesn't work this weekend and I'll post up later this week.
Not that it matters for this trail, it can be done in a stock vehicle, but how is your rig set up?

I have a 2012 JKU Sport with a 3" lift, 33" DC Fun CountryII tires, 10K winch, LSDs. It's pretty capable and I've taken it on some challenging trails. I'm just not sure I'm ready for any heavy duty rock crawling. I'm sure Barbour Fork will be fine. It's not the Jeep's capabilities I question, it's my capabilities.

Let me know, I'll see if my wife can make it too. It could be fun.

I think we may have more signed up for a Saturday run than a Sunday run. As it's working out, Saturday may be better for me as well.

What time are you guys heading up and where are you meeting at? If I can swing it I might join you.

Confused... Saturday or Sunday?
I dont think we confirmed Saturday or Sunday yet. Saturday works better for me. Sunday I have some plans with the family.

I would think we would meet somewhere in Idaho Springs at about 10:00 am? (on Saturday.Anyone know of a good place to meet that is easy to find?
