Hey guys,

Im back with another 8.8 question. I just picked up my 8.8 last weekend for 100 bucks and will start working on it over the next couple of weekends. I will not have the money to gear and lock it right away (not a big deal since I dont have 35s yet). There is an electrical plug on the top of the diff that looks to be factory. I am assuming that this is the positraction (please correct me if I am wrong). What is involved to make this work? It looks like it consists of two wires. Does this mean I can just wire it to a switch and power or how does it work? Thanks as always! :wavey:

Ahh... I've actually been wondering this myself as I progress through my 8.8 swap.

Not sure what it is for, but is does not affect the posi at all. Maybe some electronic traction aid thing. I just left mine in and unhooked and all is very well.
