Another lift question. this time blocks, or frame

I know very little about lifting a jeep but to know that doing a suspension lift is a bit exspensive. What would you recommend for someone that simply wants a small lift look on a budget. I will not really be doing any off-roading, simply driving back and forth to work, and riding the beach strip in the summer. It's a 91, and I will never have 33's (mainly because of gas) so... I've heard some on body lifts? or what about leaf lifts, or help... thanks

what are you trying to accomplish? clearing larger tires OR ground clearance? what size tires?
more just ground clearance I guess. I like the way the lift looks so I was thinking something like a 2 inch lift or so. I don't want to have to enlarge my tires because i hate that real high lift but little tires look. I have fairly standard tires I am sure. still have factory rims, which I hope to upgrade. Really just going for more looks than anything else.
A body lift is most likely your best solution since suspension performance is not a concern. A 2" body lift will allow you to fit 31" tires nicely in the future when you need new tires.

Agreed. I run a 2-1/2" RE lift with 31's. You might want to look around and time the lift with new tires. With the fenders and wheel openings up 2" you might not like the looks of the stock tires.
