The first time it was P0455 large evap leak, so I bought a new gas cap from Jeep, which seemed to fix the problem. Yesterday the check engine light came on again, I checked the code and it is a P0456 small evap leak, any ideas? Everything had been going good for some time, and the only other thing I did before the light came on was wash it yesterday. I do not know if washing it and it still being cold here would have anything to do with it? Thanks, Scooby

make sure that its on tight, and be sure that the fill hose isn't lose or has any cracks cuts in it. That would be about the only things I could think of.

check the vac lines of the manifold. my dad had that on his XJ, after replacing his cap i check the vac lines and sure enough one was hanging all by its lonesome
