i put my new radio into my jeep (06) but the antenna adapter is not standard. it is kinda reversed from standard.

is there an adapter i can buy? or a new extension?
the antenna appears to be standard but connects to an extension behind the glove box. I use XM mainly (built into radio) but occasionally want to listen to local npr or other stations.

thanks

Radio Shack or a Car Stereo Store?

if you will take your glove box out you can reach the ant. cable (runs directly behind the glove box). there should be some snaps holding it in place. if you take it away from these snaps it will give you an additional couple inches or so. should give you enough to make it work...

RADIOSHACK DOSN'T HAVE IT I WAS THERE FOR THE SAME THING!

DON'T GO THERE THEY DON'T HAVE IT WASTE OF TRIP!
Radio shack doesn't do car stereo anymore. try circuit city or best buy. Your antenna in the back of the radio needs an antenna adapter. Metra part met 40cr10. Or what I did was get an antenna extension and tap in behind the glove box. the connection there is standard and the extension will give you the extra you need.
