I have a '95 Wrangler
I want to do the basics:
Big tires, lift, suspension, system

But, Besides that do you guys have any good ideas on what i can do.

offroad lighting, cb, fire extinguisher, highlift jack, aftermarket bumpers for winch, drings and shackles, rocker guards, skid plates, 2nd and 3rd job to pay for it all.

check out quadratec.com and 4wd.com losts and lots of ideas..

lockers allow you to fully lock your front / rear or front and rear seperaltley for crawling and such.. provides better traction..

the gang can explain it better and in more detail..

Lockers:
On all cars, when you go around a corner, the inside wheel needs to go slower than the outside wheel. Cars accomplish this by allowing the inside wheel to "slip." This works great on pavement. But when you are in need of traction, it's not so great. It means that you are only using one wheel at a time for your driving force. When you put your Jeep in four wheel drive, you are really only using one front and one rear wheel at a time for your driving force.

To overcome this problem, people lock the axles together, so the left and right sides are turning together. It gives you huge advantages with traction in the rough and slippery stuff.

The problem with doing that is that now you can't drive it on pavement.

To overcome that problem, you can get lockers that only engage when there is slipping, or lockers that you push a button to engage when you need them.

The Rubicon is one of the only vehicles sold today that comes with lockers standard. It's one of the main things that make it so special. The rest of us can add them in, though.

All the locker styles have advantages and disadvantages - price, noise, complexity, durability. There's a huge set of questions and detail on the specifics of lockers. And even my explanation above will likely get some of the people here going "well, not exactly..." So it's a fun topic to learn about.

In my opinion, lockers are more important to good off-roading than big tires.

yup geoff is right a good set of lockers will get u through and over more then bigger tires. but what u buy and put on ur rig is all personal preference. u can go for the biggest baddest rock crawling machine ever. or u can go for a nice trail rider what do u see ur self doing more of but lockers money well spent.

Try to stay away from chrome goodies, stick to modifications that will increase offroad performance. A winch will get you through worse stuff than lockers will, but it requires a little more effort to rig up an anchor point & pull the cable.
