iv never installed my own offroad lights before, but i am going to try.

does anyone know a website or guide for a beginner like me can look at to help?

any information about installation would be great. i.e. how to power the lights and how to install a trigger switch or other ways to turn them on and off.

P.S. whats the difference between fog and driving lights?

Stu has some pretty good info on his site.

Check out the whole electrical section, there is lots of good stuff there.
Where do you guys recomend putting the wires for the lights through? just make a hole in the roof?
what roof??
i specifically have a hardtop but also for softtop it will be nice to know.. From the lightbar kits out there all i see is that the kit connects to the bottom of the winshield and leads to the top by the metal bars.. http://4wd1.com/LIGHTBAR 416.jpg

You mean there's a roof option?

That's what wire loom and 3M33 tape are for.
drilling a hole in a hard top is not an option to me. It will leak. Only a matter of time. I don't think you need lights up there personally but if you do want them get the light bar. That's what they are designed for :)
