2000. 4.0 was the first hear of a new head design and has a fairly common issue with head cracking a hairline crack between cylinder 3 and 4

Early on you notice. Slow coolant loss that can just be seen with careful inspection inside valve cover

With time enough coolant enters oil to make it look like chocolate milk and fail to lubricate the engine causing extensive engine damage

Chrysler redesigned the new head in late 2001 and used the same cast number but added the cast word TUPY
