closest thing is the Cliff insane terrain in I think oswego. Never been there myself. Ive only been to the badlands in indiana and that a 3 hour drive give or take. I heard there is one also in appleton wisconsin.
The cliffs in marsalies 40min west of Joliet. Seneca exit on I80. 300 acre park trails for all jeeps from stock to custom built. My jeep has 2in lift on 31in mud terrain tires. $20 for driver and $5 for each passenger. Open 9am to 4pm sat and sun. It's alot of fun. Just search Cliffs insane terrain on Internet.
