In my opinion, the best thing would be to replace it with new. If you pull it out, you will have compromised the integrity of the crumple zone. If you were to get in an accident, there's no telling what might happen.

The best solution would be to sleeve it with square tube. Cut off the front plate, find out the best dimensions for the insert. Get it in, cut it to the same length as the original crumple zone. Weld end plate back on.

Pick up a take off bumper from Craig's list. They seem to go for under $100.

It's a frame damage, especially the safety crumble zone damage. It happened to me with my 2dr, when I hit the rolling tire (from hell) popped up on my lane.
Got to cut the frame behind the crumble zone and replace it with a new frame section. You can order through dealer and there is a repair procedure from factory. That's the right thing to do for safety reasons.
