Hey there- another coolant thread. Was checking my air filter yesterday, when I noticed a ton of disintegrating wire loom, another story for another time, when I looked down to where it fell I noticed these drops of coolant. Wondering if it isn’t something others have seen. Levels seem ok, will start paying attention. 2014 JKUR, 42k miles. Power train warranty ran out 2 days ago, I did recently have my oil cooler housing replaced under warranty.

From the area that is it looks like it’s dripping off the thermostat housing. Check that. I’ve had a water pump leaking and replaced under warranty and that just pooled up at the bottom above the oil pan.

yup Tstat housing has a small crack most likely. good news is they are easy to change and the 2014 tstat housing has been upgraded.

I’m on my third t-stat housing, second radiator, and second oil cooler on my 2014 JK with 70k miles now. Love the plastic cooling system in these things...

Hi linesider7,

Please let us know via private message if you decide to have your dealer look into this. We would like to have this documented and have a case escalated in your behalf so a Case Specialist can work with your dealer to help find a potential solution.
