I have 97 Wrangler i6 with a automatic and have a trans cooler on it in front of the radiator and would also like to run a oil cooler but don't know where to mount it.
Anybody running both and where?

Are you asking about an aux engine oil cooler or an aux automatic transmission ATF cooler? The first one is not needed, the second is a good idea if you tow a trailer or do extreme offroading .

I have a aux auto trans cooler now and was thinking of adding a aux oil cooler but if not needed I won't spend the money.
I live in FL and it gets hot here, I know you live in CA which gets hot also.
Thanks for the info.

The engine oil temp is going to be whatever the engine runs at, 210 or so. Cooling the oil wouldn't really do any good, it would just warm back up again once it got back into the block. The engine thermostat and radiator pretty well sets the engine temp. :)
