I'm looking to buy some seat covers and want some that are waterproof. I have looked into bestop and shear comfort cordura covers. I know the bestop are waterproof but my dogs are white haired and the bestop covers are only offered in black. I just don't want the hair all over the covers. I stumbled across the shear comfort covers and I want to go with the black/ grey combo. Yeah I know it still has black but it's not solid. Can anyone verify if they are really waterproof? Here's a link...

I have the Coverking ballistic cordora ones and love them. I have a working dog that rides with me everyday and the stay pretty clean are waterproof and don't get excessively hot in the sun.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to check out the Coverking's but couldn't find many pics of the TJ covers but I did find quite a few pics of the JK covers. You wouldn't by chance have some pics would you? And do they have two tone or is it solid colors only? I had shear comfort send me some free fabric samples of different color combos so I can at least get an idea of what to expect. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The picture is from right after they were installed. They are now more form fitting. I will try to remember to take another picture today

I know it says they are waterproof in the link. I was just looking for someone that had personal experience with them. They also say that neoprene is waterproof but we all know its just water absorbent. It just seem that things are advertised as being something there not just to make a sale. I just don't want to spend that much money and be dissapointed.

I did look at the trek armor but at $100 more it kind of swayed my decision. While I'm sure there great if the shear comforts are of equal quality I will probably go that route. Thanks for the link though!

The TrekArmors look to be a better value with the price difference closer to $40. The TrekArmors give you 2 medium bags that attach to the rear of the seats, a full zippered rear pocket and a full zippered front pocket for ~$260 shipped from Morris 4x4. The Shear Comforts with added map pockets are ~$220 shipped. I'd call both companies and see what material is used to determine durability.
