Anyone with 18 in or larger rims on jku please post. Also how do u like em, much loss in power?

Most people on this forum dnt run more then a 17. 18s and up you are in mall crawler territory...

Just to clarify--my understanding is that it is the diameter of the TIRE and the overall weight of the tire/wheel set up that accounts for the power loss.

For example, going to 35s on 15" wheels and going to 35s on 20" wheels will--assuming both set ups weigh about the same--feel very similar in terms of power loss.

So the diameter of the wheel isn't terribly relevant to that issue. :thumb:

Crushin the mall on my 18's. (and the mud, and the trails, and wherever else I decide to go crush something...) Pffft

The Sahara comes with 18 inch rims. There is no power loss attributable strictly to the rim diameter. As MTH stated, it is the diameter of the tire and the weight of the combo that can affect driveability.
