I heard that in Ocala the forestry guys are really turning into clowns. If you go in any mud or water they give you tickets and crap for messing up the water or some garbage like that. That place used to be legendary, but now it is turning into the rest of Florida, a place where if you want to go offroading, you might as well find a new hobby.
Nope, it is old school, no one regulates anything, its just open. Doesnt cost any money, and as far as places to stay..there is a hotel less then 5 minutes away. If you want to come down, let me know, i'll give you directions.
