i've got some windshield light mount brackets you cna have if you pay the shipping
Well I want to fix up my jeep, but I'm not sure where to start. There are so many things that can be upgraded and I figured if anyone had any thing they wanted to get rid of maybe I could start that way. What do you think is the best way to go about making my jeep way cool?

Now why didn't we think of that. Mods cheap by asking other members for stuff they don't need anymore, or want.

Drive it for a while and see how you use it. Don't go doing a bunch of stuff you do not need or will never use. As you drive it and read the forum some things will occur to you as to how you can improve the performance for what you use it for. Cosmetic mods are a matter of your tastes and preferences.
Well I have had it for 7 years or so....its a 99 and I bought it brand new...I haven't done much to it and I was going to trade it in, but I test drove a couple new cars and I just couldn't do it...I couldn't give up my pink jeep So I want to fix it up and make it more jeep like.
So I want to fix it up and make it more jeep like.
For a neutral neither on/off road upgrades I'd suggest the following.
Replace your stock lights with Hella E code or CIBIE 7" rounds, also add a headlight wiring harness upgrade, this will improve nite driving. Add a set of Hella 500 fog lights [not driving lights].
Replace your stock stereo system with one that has bluetooth if you have a bluetooth cell phone.
Wet Okole seat covers if your seats are showing signs of wear.
Front and rear bumpers with tow points
Rocker protection
2" budget boost
The list could go on and on

Make a list of what you like or might want. I would start by getting some catalogs (wish books) ordered. I use them as reading maturial when I am in my morning procedure. The only things I have, off the top of my head is a set of 31x10.50's Yokahoma Geolanders about 90 percent tread left, a vent scoop for a 97 still in the box but opened (big fingered the keyboard when ordering) a Stab. Shock with brackets for a YJ missing the shock boot. (same big finger problem), and a Light bar for a TJ wired and equipped with lights. Been hanging onto this stuff to see what Levinoss decides on and give him first dibs. I got a ton of stuff in the garage and will have to root around to see what exactly is in there.Well cast offs are cool as well...I just want my jeep to be better

Well, if I could afford the 4" lift I want I would give you my 2" budget boost. Glad you kept it. I did trade my '99 TJ in and kicked myself in the butt(not really) for the three years it took to pay the next heap down enought to get another jeep. Now I have my 2000 TJ. Never trade, you'll hate yourself.
I may have a Wrangler Forum decal you can have for your wind shield, it's white. Let me look. Oh, I do have a factory spare tire cover with JEEP written on it.

Lift it, bigger tires, bumpers, seats, lights, exhaust, armor...
Thank you all soooo much! I was going to trade it in because the top is broken and I was tired of being wet and cold on the way to and from work/school I will take some pictures to post for some more advice. I really am glad I found this forum - I'm exicited about being a jeep owner again. It's pretty much stock I mean I have a sound bar and thats about it. I did get a paint job (it's pink...well rose metalic- it looks copper during the day but a night its pink) and the inside is rhino lined...a friend did it for me. I think I want to pimp it out and take it off road more...again Thank you alll soooo much!
