Favorite aspect of the jeep is the places it takes me to and the good times with friends. Camping gear stays loaded in the back as it is used often. The jeep can crawl on rocks all weekend, then hit the highways home with out issues. Some of the modifications include:

Started out with the "WF Most Popular Lift" then changed the springs to 2.5" Metacloak
Rancho adjustable shocks
SwayLoc swaybar disconnect
Bushwacker fenders
4:88 gears
Ten Factory chromoly axles
Level 8 Punch wheels
37" Patagonia tires
9500lb Smittybuilt winch
Bartact seat covers
Kenwood head unit with front & rear cameras
Jeep Backbone deck cover
Uniden CB
Bestop soft top
KC off road lights

This is my '16 JK, it started life as a hydro blue hardtop Willys.
Short modifications list
Cut frame and extended wheelbase 26" and 12" behind axle, homemade cab corners to match a prototype gr8tops 1 piece recruit top
Tj fuel tank, stock EVAP emissions, jk pump basket, extended fuel lines
Rear eaton tru-trac with 3.73 gears (soon 4.10s and front tru-trac) and 255/80r17 Mastercraft CXT tires
Heavy jk front coils with 1" teraflex spacer and 2.0 fox . Rear has custom coils from Coil Spring Specialities and 2.0 fox. (Soon Artec track bar relocation and Metal Cloak bumps)
AEV front bumper with stowmaster tow bar.
Homemade flatbed with a 4' drawer on the left and 2' on the right and working on overlanding setup.
Pioneer touchscreen headunit, rockford fosgate components, maestro interface module, backup camera, sound deadened, marathon seat covers, rock hard 4x4 bolt in roll bar reinforcement.

I really enjoy having a good moderate sized work truck, it has been a wonderful replacement for my old longbed Comanche

For your consideration! I have a 2007 JK. In the 8 years I’ve had it, I’ve added the following:
Rock Krawler 3.5 X-Factor with Bilstein shocks
37” Nitto Trail Grapplers
17” Spyderlock Beadlocks
Powerstop drilled and slotted rotors front and rear with Hawk pads
Rubi front 44, sleeved, trussed, and gusseted with RCV shafts and factory locker
Rubi rear 44 with 35 spline chromoly shafts and ARB locker
Tatton front and rear 1310 driveshafts
Red-neck Ram Hydro-assist steering setup with PSC pump and reservoir
12” Derale inline cooler
ARB dual compressor mounted under the hood
Poison Spyder front Brawler bumper w/ X-Vision LED foglights and Warn Zeon 10S winch
AEV rear bumper with AEV tire carrier with optional water tank and AEV 10 gallon aux. fuel tank
JCR Stage 2 Rock Rails with tube step
Rock Hard 4X4 full skids and transmission crossmember package
B&M 46200 manual shifter
SPOD 6 switch with Aeroforce gauge
Pioneer AVH-2550NEX radio
Full Kicker speaker upgrade with 8” Kicker Solobaric sub and compact box
Cobra CB
Trek Armor seat covers
Nemesis Notorious front and rear fenders with skeletos upgrade
Ace Engineering front and rear inner fenders

It’s hard to pick a favorite memory in it, as we’ve made so many between Hidden Falls, PINS, Katemcy, Bridgeport, and all of the overlanding in between. We are really looking forward to our trip to Moab in it this September. We’re also going to hit Black Bear Pass, Imogene Pass, and Merus on the way back. That trip is shaping up to be the best yet!

my little jeep , it is a mule , 1990 , last of the 258 . It has more hours in 4X4 low than 2 wheel drive . Little jeep has a fine sense of humour , just the other night it decided i did not need lights to see with . It was correct as i got back to the claim without them . Easy repair

What is not to like, it goes everywhere and pretty much does anything I want it to. The best aspect is when taking a trip we set the nav to shortest route possible, no interstates and dirt roads are okay. We have seen some very nice country this way and you would not believe the number of dirt roads that are in this country.

2017 - JKUR with Factory Half Doors

My favorite memory with my Jeep to date has to be taking my 8 year old son, Jaxon, rock crawling for his first time. He was terrified but he had blast. We were able to camp in a tent, cook on a camp fire, rock crawl and got to spend time just hanging out. He talks about that trip to Hidden Falls, TX all the time and said he cant wait to do it again. And honestly, either can I!

Here’s my rig:

Frame and front 86 CJ7. Tub is 94 YJ

2000 4.8L Vortec/4L60e/ Dana 300.

14 bolt rear/10 bolt front both from an 85 K20

H1 beadlock wheels w/TWF inserts 37/12.5/16.5 MT/R

Warn Zeon 10k

The last photo is most recent. Easter Sunday I went for a short trail ride with my Father-in-law and Brother-in-law. Hit a couple good mud holes and some difficult ditch crossings. Poor thing lost a radiator hose from all the thrashing. All of us wearing nice clothes, me without any tools, not even a leatherman. I had to improvise and fast, because dinner was about ready and worse, my wife’s wrath was imminent. I used a coin to loosen and reattach the hose clamp. A scavenged beer bottle became the vessel of choice for refilling the radiator. About 50 bottles of swamp water later we were back in action! We even made it back with time to spare!

I absolutely am so glad I joined the Jeep crowd. I have gotten 4 BOH trails done and have two more planned for this summer in AZ. I am very new to off roading so I learn and break a lot when I'm off roading. Now with the new build I think my Rubicon will be much better prepared for the off road adventures. My favorite memory or I should say most memorable one is being stuck in the "quick sand" of Florida waiting hours for someone to drive bye. Live and learn and looking forward to the AZ trip this year.

Wow! That's brand loyalty. lol I had a 2016 JKU-S & traded up to a 2020 JLU-R. Seems like wranglers are the only vehicles I have any interest in at all now. Great 4x4 & by looking around here more than you & I think the same way. I've never seen so many Wranglers on the road until the last few years. My aim's to put 37's on it. Any chance you know if the Metal Cloak 3.5 inch Game Changer suspension kit is any good? Do they make anything that I should stay away from?
Thanks
Hardi

'61 Willys wagon. '71 Blazer frame, the front frame horns were cut off and a new boxed raised section was added and it houses my Warm M15000 LB. winch that is not on in these pics. 383 SBC V8 with Holley 650 Truck Avenger carb., Vic Jr. Intake, MSD ignition and blaster coil, headers.TH400 w/ a stage 2 shift kit, Dana 300 w/ JB conversions Lo Max 4:1 gears and twin stick. D60 front, 14 bolt rear with 4:10 gears and ARB lockers. It has a Howe racing aluminum radiator, custom shroud with a 2 speed electric Volvo fan, a cooler for the oil and a fan and cooler for the tranny 38 x 14.50 x 17" MTRK's on cheap steelies. PSC hydro assist steering, and, hydro 4 wheel disc brakes. Front 4 link w/16" King remote coilovers, Artec high steer arms,, cross over steering. No frill leaves in rear. Sound proofing throughout, new interior panels and bucket seats. It has Auto Meter Phantom gauges for oil, water, oil pressure, and Batt.
This is my second wagon in the last 22 years and there is nothing better than old iron on the trail and, in case you didn't realize, there are no driveway pics. It has given us many enjoyable trips but the time before last I went wheeling, I broke a throttle cable in the middle of nowhere. Luckily I went prepared and had some wire I was able to replace the cable with. Thanks for letting me share !

I've had my girl for only about a month now.
Upgrades are minimal. They inclide a leveling kit, Side steps, grill, grill insert, halo lights, and interior a new alpine head unit.

My favorite aspect of her is her color combo. I'm a simple girl and just love black and white.
