Just wanting thoughts on this mounting location? I removed stock jack and I like the close run to the battery. I would probably run my air hose along back wall of engine bay and alongside frame on driver side(given I have enough hose)
Looking ok? For anyone doing this there is little to no room to tighten the pressure switch once the solenoid is in place. Its in the instructions to loosen the black colored hex bolt (below the pressure switch in the picture) to allow you to tighten the pressure switch.
So after looking at the compressor harness(not as intimidating as it looks) it looks like I will only be 'popping' only 1 small hole in the firewall to route the switch wires thru!!?? It looks like the relay will stay in the engine bay. Plug and play harness. 👍👍👍
So I'm kinda dry fitting my compressor line to the rear axle...it states to leave some slack(obviously) but is this excessive? I tied it up along the fuel lines and compressor is close to the battery. I have plenty of line to work with. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks!
Finally...ALMOST finished my wiring...compressor fires up! Yay. Routed, zip tied all wires and still need to complete last blue wire for lighting up the switches when the lights are on. But as far as I can tell its ready to use. Going to jack up the rear and do the test as well as check for any potential leaks. The 4-wire connection through the firewall was a 3/8" hole with 1/4"I.d. grommets from OSH.
