Not sure if this has been discussed before but looking for advice. I just bought a 2019 JL Sahara with the 2.0 turbo. It seems like there is an issue with downshifting every time I slow down. When I am slowing down either when braking or coasting it feels like it skips a gear or something.

It is not making any noise and drives/rides great other than that. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes... No... Maybe so?

Yes, I have also experienced something similar..... I've noticed it most going downhill slowing down to stop or turn. I hear it down shift automatically. I have a 3.6 for reference.

Hasn't been a issue for me. It does the job nicely.

:welcome: to the forum. IIRC the transmission is programmed to skip gears for better efficiency if/when needed. It also takes a little while for the transmission to "learn" how you drive it. They call it automatic transmission adaptive learning. Essentially it learns your driving habits, and it should improve once it learns them.
