I have a 2015 JK Sahara. For several months, I have had the AUX randomly stop working and my fix has always been to turn the car off, open and close the driver's door, and start the car again. Now, either it immediately gives me the error message "this device is no longer available" and the AUX is not selectable, or it simply isn't selectable from the moment I turn on the car. The phone shows (the bars of coverage and the battery level) just like always, but AUX is not selectable. Any advice on how to fix it? Or if I need to take it to be fixed, would you go to the dealership (I bought my Jeep used and not from a Jeep dealer) or somewhere else? Thanks!

I would order a new head unit from Bestbuy and get the free install.

Which Alpine? I still have the factory 130 with bluetooth 3...and I hate every second of that thing. Love the upgraded Alpine speakers though. Have been procrastinating for some time about a new head unit.

You'll be a lot happier without that awful blue tooth we have.

Oh hey welcome to the forum! Wave!
