I just went threw this.. You need to jack up your body tub, grind tack welds of nuts then knock them off with air hammer. I then used teraflex rear shock bar pin elim kit ($25) and installed it with grade 8 hardware.

What do u mean by jack up the tub like off the frame
Yes, remove all body mount bolts then lift the corner ~4" and remove fender inner liner to gain access to weld nut.

Remember the 2 body mounts in front of the gas tank.. Took me a few min to figure it out. I used a dremel with a cutoff wheel to cut into the tacks hold the nuts then air chisel to knock them off.

I poked my dremel through the hole where the upper tip of the shock goes and cut the majority of the tack weld off the nuts. I was then able to air hammer the nut the rest of the way off.

undo the body mounts and replace the upper shock bolts and nuts with grade 8 hardware ... its about a 1 hr job if you have air tools

But if I can get the welded nuts off I have inserts for the holes
Nutserts=devil IMO. After dealing with them for the skid for the t-case/tranny. I would prefer a nut and bolt and with the bar pin elim there should be no need to remove again.

When I still used the stock mounting locations I just drilled the hole out and used a nut and a bolt. Kind of PITA to get the nut to stay, but the right combination of wrenches cut up hands and cussing got the job done. LOL
