Maybe a dumb question, but is it ok to run on a bad o2 sensor for a couple weeks? My check engine light came on yesterday and I took it in to the dealership to get it scanned. They said it was the o2 sensor, but thought it was giving off a false error, so they cleared it. Today the check engine light came on again. I called the dealership back up and they can't get me in until the 29th. I'm guessing it's not a big deal or else they'd get me in earlier.

On a related note, I really like my dealership. I know a couple of the guys there and they've treated me well so far. Yesterday, as one was running the scan, he was going off on "all the $#^#ing sensors cars have nowadays." One of the other guys must have overheard him and decided to yell back, "yeah, $%^@ those things!" Cracked me up.

It's a 2015. I've owned it for a few months, has about 1500 miles on it.

Hooray for not having a blinking check engine light, haha.
