It is leaking but seems like it's just engine oil that's leaking. I removed the front drive shaft thinking the noise was coming from the front. Still there, but not as loud.

Does the sound go away when you disengage the clutch? Or is it constant. If you are losing fluid from the reservoir and its leaking from the inside the bell housing it will mix with dirt and oil and look like motor oil.

I had one that squealed on cold mornings, after a few months it started leaking and had to be replaced.

Yes if the slave is leaking it's time to replace. It may last for quite awhile with you just filling it up, but when it decides to go, it goes completely. Then you need a tow, or better be able start it in second and shift with no clutch till you get it to a shop or home. It's no fun shutting down at stop lights and getting going again with the starter motor.
