Drove home and when I turned into the driveway steering popped and started squeeking. Lo and behold I have a big puddle of red fluid leaking down from the pump. Has anyone done a replacement ps pump on a 4.0l? How hard and can I get it done in a day? Thanks in advance

Not bad job at all, about 2 hours if you take your time with little knowledge.
Don't forget to bleed lines by turning your steering wheel left and right slowly until all the air is out.

Got it replaced and it's working fine now. The pulley had a lot of play in it so I guess the bearing was shot and the seal gave out

Well it was fine the first time I drove it. Then after it sat for about an hour now the pump squeals really bad. Any ideas?

I recently had this problem and it was the pump. I had it replaced by a local shop and it ran me about $1200 parts and labor.
