I have a 4 inch lift installed on my 04 TJ, I want to get rid of the drop and eventually get a belly up skid, would a sye and new drive shaft allow me to remove it, or would I need adjustable upper control arms, or what I hate having that thing dropped it gets hung on everything.

Learn from my mistakes in sequence of installation. I got my skid all installed to perfection. Then I went to install my rear upper control arms and found that one bolt (passenger side front one) can't be removed and replaced without dropping the muffler. So I'm going to have to re-prop everything and drop the skid back out, to drop the muffler, to pull the control arm bolt. Then re-install the skid again which is a two man, three arm job, all for one bolt.

Do control arms first and skid second, re-adjust pinion angle when all done.
