I have a 97 tj, automatic with the 6 cylinder. I have 35's and was wanting to do a gear upgrade. I would like to know what some of yall have done and what the best ratio is with the 35's.

For 35" tires and your 3-speed automatic transmission, you want 4.56 gears. 4.88 is appropriate for the 4.0L engine and 5-speed transmission but you really need to go with the slightly higher 4.56 ratio or your rpms will be too high if you went 4.88. 4.10 is too low of a ratio to fully restore the performance lost with 35" tires.

Brand wise, since you said the "best", you can't beat Spicer gears. Afterall, they are who made your axles... Dana-Spicer. :)
