Hey guys, I'm new to 4-wheeling and looking for some advice. What is the best tire pressure for off-roading? I have BFG ATR KO2s in 35x12.5 R17.

Thanks.

Depends where and surface type. Some like 10psi, others 20psi and anywhere in between. Bead lockers will tolerate lower.

Dropping my wife’s 32” LT KO2s from 30 to 20 psi helped improve ride quality off road. One person running 35” dropped to 15psi for the day.

Ensure you have a good compressor with you to get them back to street pressure.

There is no best, to many variables in play. If you have beadlocks you can go down into the single digits. I don't have them about about as low as I will go is 12lbs for rocks and sand. If just simple trails and ridge roads I might drop down to 18lbs or I may not bother.
