you will never get the right answer asking for the "best", but in my opinion and what I run, I would go with the rancho 5000
X2:...it won't cure it just cover it up until the stabilizer is tired. It won't cure your DW it will only mask it for a little while.
You're kidding, right? Dealers know about as much about curing DW as I know about navigating to Mars. They'll just say it needs a new steering stabilizer, charge him $200 because they'll say his Jeep was abused offroad, and show him the door. DW is complex enough that very few dealer techs know how to cure it, all they know to do is apply band-aid fixes like a new stabilizer. You've got DW with stock suspension and stock size tires? If you've got the 7/70,000 mile warranty, make a dealer fix it.
Keen? Gus, you must be nearly as old as I am.I like my OME. It's a really cool yellow that looks kinda keen.unk:
Yep! Nearly, but not quite.Keen? Gus, you must be nearly as old as I am.![]()

Probably not. Haven't heard "neato" in a while either. I think they were replaced with "Shweeeet"Damn, are you telling me that they don't use those words anymore????
Nope.Damn, are you telling me that they don't use those words anymore????
Look at the rancho and take note of all the stats on it. Then look at the Monroe for half the price and its has the exact same stats. You can always paint it if the color is what you want.Hey all,
I've got a 2005 Unlimited Rubicon with stock suspension and stock tire size (for now) and I'm trying to figure out which steering stabilizer is the best on the market today. Obviously, might as well go big or go home so I want to upgrade. I'm also trying to get my death wobble fine tuned and I think this is the last step. Any suggestions as to brand to buy???
I was leaning towards RE because that's the lift I'm planning on installing when the funds arrive. But are Rancho, Full-Traction, Black Diamond, etc. any better?
Thanks for your help!

Moot point.... its a 2005Jerry,
I'm saying IF he has the 7/70,000 warranty, and it's still basically stock like he says, let the dealer fix it. As long as it's covered, it'll probably cost him less in the long run ($100 deductible vs. the chance of multiple solutions that don't work).
I wouldn't consider the dealer without the warranty.
I didn't think you'd get DW with a stock set up.
