Steering stabilizers are all the same thing, a hydraulic shock with a 50:50 valve ratio. So long as you stay with a decent name brand, any will be fine. Monroe makes most of them anyway. ProComp's does tend to rust quicker because its not finished as well with paint and chrome but the others like Monroe, Rancho, RE, Skyjacker, OME, Doetsch Tech, etc. will all be fine.

And as the others said, the steering stabilizer has nothing to do with DW. Replacing the small OE factory stabilizer with a bigger aftermarket stabilizer may help temporarily mask the DW symptoms but that's it... it is no more part of the cure for Death Wobble as a band-aid is part of the cure for a skin cancer.

You've got DW with stock suspension and stock size tires? If you've got the 7/70,000 mile warranty, make a dealer fix it.

You're kidding, right? Dealers know about as much about curing DW as I know about navigating to Mars. They'll just say it needs a new steering stabilizer, charge him $200 because they'll say his Jeep was abused offroad, and show him the door. DW is complex enough that very few dealer techs know how to cure it, all they know to do is apply band-aid fixes like a new stabilizer.

Yes, a steering stabilizer could be an issue on DW.

A steering stabilizer can only temporarily mask the symptoms of DW but it is never the root cause of nor the cure for DW. Replacing the steering stablizer to cure DW would be like placing a band-aid over a skin cancer. Both may temporarily mask the symptoms but the underlying problem is still there.
