Hi All,

Some of you might have seen my Jeep in my other thread, I purchased it not too long ago.

I am looking for new tyres for it, the size I am after is 235 / 75 / R15.

Any recomendations which ones to use ? Best tyres in your experience ? Worst tyres in your experience ?

I want All terrain Tyres -

Many Thanks :)

235/75r15 = 30x10.5x15.

do you want the same size again or a bit bigger tires?

i had yokohama geolandar AT tires on 3 wranglers and they were much better in rain/snow than the goodyear wrangler ATs and BFG ATs i had before. the hard BFG ATs were worse than my new cooper STT MT tires.

Popular AT tires include

BFG AT KOs
Goodyear Silent Armors
TOYO Open Country A/Ts
Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos

All have their fair share of good and mediocre reviews.
I personally liked the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos. They handled well in rain and snow, weren't too noisey and the price wasn't too steep. I currently have the BFGs on my new jeep but haven't driven them enough to judge them.

People may not agree on what to put on your Jeep but most agree that you should stay away from the Goodyear Wrangler GS-A tires and the RT-S tires.

i run 235/75/15 kumho venture mt's on my yj. they're quite nice. they've done everything i've thrown at them. they're also quite nice on the road, and not real loud. not real expensive either

I have Kumho Venture MTs at the rear - and Good year Wrangler RT/S at front -- and yes I can tell they are crap --

as I have bought the jeep recently so I do not know how long they have been on their but the G years have small cracks all over them and have not worn well at all -- Kumhos look in better condition -

I am inclined towards BFGs -- bit costly but quality is there --

on the other I am thinking is it worth putting too expensive tyres on it -- the jeep is not my daily driver -- i have another car for that and commuting -- I will be putting about 5000 miles on the jeep in a year maximum --

Bridgestone duelers looks like a good suggestion.

Most probably I would go for same size -- is bigger the better ? if so how ? -- i am new to Jeeps so have to ask :) -- suitable size for my jeep recomendations ?

open to any suggestions and advice -

Cheers
