Ok well its time for me to get new tires in the next month so im thinking about BFG Krawlers they only come in 35's and my lift is onlt a 3.5 but I got a full 4 with the RE coils..... can I get away with a 1"BL and the 35 Krawlers on the stock rims?

also any one who has them post some pics and let me know how you like them....thanks....

Krawlers are an awesome rock crawler but are you running a Dana 44 in back? I wouldn't trust a Dana 35c with that size and weight tire. :)

Along with what Jerry said, they will also not work with the stock rims. The 35" version only comes in a 13.50 wide tire and the stock backspacing would basically put that tire right on your frame. After market rims are a must.

is this a town rig or strictly trail? krawlers are known for being great rock tires due to their soft construction but will wear a hell of alot faster than a lot of others. if I were you (cause mine is both a daily driver and a trail rig) I would look at something a little more long lasting, unless you want to be looking at new tires in a few months. but thats just my thoughts.

Well my TJ is my dd .....can anyone suggest a more aggresive looking tread that I can use on my stock rims? I go wheeling once a week now but in the summer when schools out ill be goin atleast 3 times a week. I dont plan on changing my rear axel because ill have a new jeep in 2 years

well BFG M/T are great tires they last forever (except for their soft sidewalls), SS IROCK, SS TSL's are a thick tire. I've also heard great things about Toyo M/T. I think that I'm gonna look into the IROCK's when I look at a new set.

the smallest width in the TOYO M/T is 12.50

What kind of wheelin' are you into? diferent tires for different styles

I agree with debruins about the trxus M/T, but not the thornbirds (no offence debruins). The thornbirds flatspot really easy if sitting for even a little while, and they are an extremely rough riding tire, I do not recommend them at all. I forgot about the truxus M/T's though I've heard are a great handling tire, and pretty quiet.

Also I believe the Krawlers are only rated up to 75 mph.

I wheel alot of diff. terrain from sand at the beach to dry trails with alot of sharp roots and small rocks and when I go upstate theres alot of rock gardens I play in....

If im staying with a d35 are there tires light enough to run 35s?

i would just do a D44 swap
it only costs a little more than 1K +new gears up front =2k
you will have to regear to run 35's and you might as well upgrade your axle
i would start looking in junk yards if i were you, or go with 33's JMHO
or you could go with the 35's and look for the 44 and then throw it on once you break the 35

I would go with the trxus M/T, they are a very tuff tire.

Im looking at the trxus M/T would these tires be too heavy in 35's for the d35? if not I can just stick with 33's and not get a 1inch BL

The 12.50 wide Toyos are 31s, The 33s and 35s are both 13.50 wide. I will completely agree with the thornbird discouragement. They are a horrible tire. But I will disagree on the Trxus MTs. Mine would flat spot if they sat even over night when it was cold. Once the temp got up from some road wear they were fine.

oops my bad I didn't look at the tire size he was looking for. I just saw that they came in 12.50. sorry for the wrong info. for the 13.50's though I've heard of people getting wheel spacers don't know if that is an option for you but its the next best thing I guess.

how wide were the spacers he used? are they really needed? I really dont want to change my rims I like how they look and dont have the money to switch them yet

you think the 35's would be to heavy for the d35?
