Any one running the BFG KM 2's. Was wondering about road noise for highway driving. Was going with the toyo 2's but like the looks of these. Also thought about going with Toyo MT's

Lots of people run the KM2's. I have a set, they are pretty quiet for an MT. I rotate about every 3K miles to keep them even.

How do they compare to the older style stock Rubi MT's on road?

They are pretty loud and not a very smooth ride. Also seem to bounce around the road quit a bit.

KM2 is a proven tire if you want/need a Mud tire. All MT for the most part will not perform as well on paved roads and highways as do the AT tires.

I agree that don't expect a quiet and smooth ride when running a set of MT's. Regarding the KM2's, they are not the roughest tires for highway use.

Are the KM2 better in the road than the old KM?

You don't even hear the KM2s under 45mph, they do make some noise over 50mph but not real loud. My ride is very smooth but that may be because I put on the Rancho 9000xl shocks set at 5. Only down side is they do run on the small side but they are pretty light for an MT. I think the 35x12.5x17 is only 66lbs, 10-15lbs lighter than some other MTs
