Just picked up the wife's 12 unlimited, bare bones model with the 16" steel rims. I actually like the steel rims need to know how big a tire can be mounted on these without issues?

thanks

I think those rims are 16x7's with 6.25 or 6.5 back spacing.. someone feel free to correct me if im wrong.. you can go up to 33's with a max width of (almost positive) 10.5in

Something like a 285/75/16 (close to a 33x11) would work, but you might have some rubbing on your front air dam. That can be fixed with wheels spacers, trimming the air dam, or installing a washer or two on your steering stops. A 265/75/16 (close to a 32x10.5) would work without issue.

Ive got steelies still. I run 265/70r16 without issue. Put some spacers on your hubs and you could run a 34x10.50 or 295/75r16 or similar on those steelies.
